my weatherbug graphs have big empty spots in them. it is like i cant get to their website or something. it is doing it right this instant and i went to weather.com and it took forever to respond and load. is anyone else experiencing this? if i continue to get big holes in the graph, the graph is useless and i will need to persue other weather graphing options, i like the weatherbug though.

Yeah, I get them too...
No reason why. We have good primary and backup circuits.
I would assume that anytime the web page takes longer than 10 sec to come up, the script will fail.
Just my guess. |

See Settings -> Poller for timeout settings. Currently, there's a timeout issue with current cactid

| Check to see what the return values are for the script in a shell. I was having the same problems but it was because the station I was pulling from was an airport that closes during the wee hours of the morning. I switched it to another station and everything is working just fine. |

| i am still having the issue. it has gotten extremely bad over the last 24 hours. im on my third station and they are all leaving gaps or bad data. i have just increased the cactid timeout to 50 seconds, we'll see if that makes any difference. |

Hi together.
I've seen this gaps at my graphs too. They always shown up at 22:30 - 4:30 (german time ).
Till last night ( 22:45 ) i can't graph data anymore.
Executing WeatherBug.pl from shell :
| Code: | [root@titan scripts]# ./WeatherBug.pl EDLW
DewPoint:0.0 Humidity:0.0 Temp:0.0 Wind:0.0 Pressure:0.00 Rain:0.00 HeatIndex:0.0
|
Taking other stations like EDDL ( Duesseldorf ), EDDF ( Frankfurt ) or LFPW (Paris)
didnt change the results.
Asking some american airport data like NY:
| Code: | ./WeatherBug.pl KNYC
DewPoint:19.0 Humidity:88.1 Temp:21.0 Wind:7.4 Pressure:101.22 Rain:0.00 HeatIndex:21.0
|
Can pls someone verifiy this ?
Solutions, tips or informations ?

Since Friday 02.06 15:30 data collection turned back normal.
Hm.
Gap between 22:30 - 4:30 seemed to be persistent.

I would expect, if there was a connectivity problem, for all graphs to have gaps over the same spans. But I see that some graphs are broken and others are either broken in different places/times or not at all.
An example.
I raised the script timeout to see if that makes a difference: surely 60 seconds is enough?[/url] |
