Note plugin?

Hi,

I wonder if there is some kind of "note plugin" for cacti, does anyone know?

At the moment, we are using cacti to monitor the network connections and wiki to document the connections - each connection has an entry which tells what kind of connection the line is (ADSL/SDSL/g.shdsl) and what ISP is it from and what is the speed and with what technology is the connection shared to the customers (ethernet,adsl dslam,homepna,...) etc.

We would like to have all this information in cacti. Even a textbox without any predefined fields would do.

Can you tell me if there is a plugin for me?

I have a "Documents" plugin which works great, I just haven't released it yet. (Its attached)

This plugin allows you to create documents via a WYSIWYG editor. Later I will allow the ability to associate it with a host, and then you can add things like <IPADDRESS>, etc... to the documentation, and when viewed, it will substitute it with the ip address associated with the host.

You could past the link (to your doc) into weathermap.... Click on an item and have the docs show up.... For now...

Just an idea..
