thold not accepting data-source

I have another strange problem. When I try to assign a threshold via method one (go to device, click and assign threshold) I have following problem: in the drop-down on the very lef upper corner I could choose the data-source, which are sorted asscending. I don't want the first data-source to be used, but the second. When I choose the second, cacti shows the graph and I am satisfied, but when I press save it straightly goes to the first data-source again! When I then look in the thresholds, it is in deed linked to the first data-source, not to the second.
