Hi,

I want to monitor an internal web site. The idea I have is to measure the load time per script (the URL is the configuation item). Has anyone a idea or a solution ?

Greetings
Moe

I believe something like wget will tell you the amount of time it took to fetch a page. Then just create a script that will spit out the time. Look in the documentation site on how to create a template to capture the scripts output and graph it.

If you happen to have Cisco routers, Cisco's IPSLA agent can do this too, and break it down into the TCP connection, DNS resolution and actual server response time, too. Have a look on the forums for SAA or IPSLA.

In the zip there are two templates. If you just want the response time then just use that template. If you want to use the http alert checker tell me as I'll have to export my sql table and give it to you.

You might also have to install some perl modules. Check the top of the perl file you see which ones.
