Heres a dumb question

I want to use plugins but I am having trouble so here are some dumb questions.

1. You have to do some thing special to use plugins? It's not part of the standard install?

2. How do I tell what version of cacti I'm running? I installed from a EXE setup.

Lookin in the install folder in the cacti root I have a bunch of files such as 0_8_6g_to_0_8_6h.php.

The last on being 0_8_6h_to_0_8_6i.php. Does that mean that I am running 0.8.6i?

3. If it is not standard does that me I have to do some thing with this plugin architecture?

My head hurts. Help would be apperciated.

I assume you are running Windows.

If you click on the Cactus at the bottom of the console page, you will get to the about page and the version information.
