0.93 has some changes that I want to test a little more before releasing it. If you use unusual rrd datasources (other than plain old traffic), or if you use the editor a great deal, AND you don't mind that Weathermap might act funny for a little while (or you have a test box), then please PM me.
I'm doing some more testing on my own system at the moment, but I want to try and get a test release of 0.93 out this week, and assuming it works perfectly *cough* then a full release for the week after that.
The changes relate to the way rrd data is extracted, and also a bunch of editor tweaks.

I have a complete Cacti that is built entirely within VMware.
I can easily test and destroy this system as many times as you like.
All of my testing is via FreeBSD running inside VMware for easy "revert back" testing and deployment.
I am in the process of putting my VM on the web so anyone can do the same type of testing.
I have it on a quick web page I through together in a hurry today.
I will fix up the web page next weekend, running out of time today.
I have re-deployed Cacti and tested so many time with various components that I actually wrote a "Cacti VM Rapid Deployment" script.
I can have Cacti up and running in only a few minutes and test many configurations rapidly.
I got so hooked on building Cacti on FreeBSD inside VMware that a copy of this VM is now my official production build.
I did add the Boost Plugin to my production box, this is the only way a site with as many data sources can run.
The Poller must be completely seperate from any RRD updates and other graphing functions.
If you or anyone would like to try my Cacti VM, help yourself:

This VM does not use the Boost Plugin so it can correctly show off Weathermap!

Thanks - we have a dev ESX server at work, so I'll drop it on that. Looks nice Good to see more FreeBSD in the world too.

That will be fixed in the NEXT release.

Well,
In my company, we have a development server (in a virtual machine runing under virtual server), if you want, I can start testing the 0.93 version.
The OS is Debian Etch.

N3ncy,
I downloaded your VMWare image, and i would love to use it, but i am having some problems when i boot it. I have imported it into my VMWare ESXServer. When i boot it, i get the following:
| Code: | | Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1a |
and then it errors out. I have attached a picture.
Any thoughts on how i can get this working.
Thanks much

I have tested this image on the free player and free server.
I have loaded the VMtools and tested them.
I see no reason why you would get this error.
I am about to upload a newer vm image (tomorrow) with a few cacti fixes.
Although this really has no fix for your unknown error since my testing can't reproduce it.

OK, after fixing a few things that I spotted during the week,
here is the 0.93beta1 download.
Please let me know if you find any bugs. I'll release the new version after a week or two, once I have finished updating the docs as well.

I've just put up 0.93beta2 at the same place, which fixes a number of issues that came in from my own testing, plus a couple mentioned here.
Please let me know if it causes you any problems. It will probably become 0.93 as soon as I finish writing documentation, otherwise.

N3NCY -
You have a PM, I have set this up on VMWares Workstation.
Seems I can ping the world, from the distro. BUT, unable to http or ping it from Ubuntu or Win XP Pro. on the same segment. Any ideas, could it be the IPFW settings.

N3NCY-
As you can see, it loads, it can ping the real world, but I am unable to ping any part of the FREEBSD system, or load the web page.
