Prior to upgrading, I was able to view two maps on a single page with the admin login. Since upgrading, I am only able to view a single map (the one that is listed on top in the Weathermap Management Console). I've confirmed that both maps are being written during the poll. Is this by design?
Also, when I click on the name of a weathermap in the Console, it takes me directly to the editor. Very cool; however, there is no way to get back to Cacti. If I click on the Back button in the browser it redirects me to the Cacti login screen.

Check the Settings..Misc in Cacti. Is the 'Page Style' somehow set to 'Show Only First'?
This was a request from a user - they have a 'master map' which has links into other maps, so he wanted only the first one to show up, and the others built but hidden away. It shouldn't be the default ever though

Click on the Choose File button in the editor. It should go back into Cacti. |

The page style is definitely set to Full Images.

I'm assuming you mean the "Change File" button in the editor. Same results - just get redirected to the login page. |

Do you get the "Powered by" part at the bottom of the page? I'm just wondering if it's just flat-out breaking halfway through rendering the page for some reason.

Well that sounds like your Cacti login session has just expired in the meantime... I would imagine that if you go in, and straight back out this doesn't happen? |

Yes, I sure do..

I don't think it's a session expiration issue at all.. If I'm in Cacti and I switch to Google and then go back to Cacti I don't have to re-login. When I mentioned that Weathermap is re-directing me to the login page, I failed to mention that the URL is still showing: http://somewebserver/weathermap/weathermap-cacti-plugin-mgmt.php. |

The URL part is standard Cacti behaviour - if you bookmark a page within Cacti, logout and go to the bookmark, you'll see the same thing - a log in screen on the URL that you saved. Actually that's not quite true - you get the access denied screen with that URL. You get the actual login screen?
Basically we need to figure out what's different about your system. It doesn't do this for me (with 0.8.6j or 0.8.7beta4), and no-one else has reported it (although it's early days for 0.93), so it's not a general problem as far as I can see. Is there anything special about your system (or your browser, for the login issue)? |

Correct, it is taking me directly to the login screen.

Nothing all that special about my system. Browser is IE 6, although I have also tried with Firefox and I get the same results.
Let me know if there's any debugging that you would like me to do, but basically this is enough reason for me to stick with 0.92 for now. |

There's a simple enough workaround for it, which cleanly breaks the link between Cacti and the editor: in weathermap-cacti-plugin-mgmt.php, remove the '&plug=1' string from line 227.
Also, I am assuming that if you just go to the editor the old fashioned way (by typing editor.php in your browser), then you don't see any problems with Cacti logging out?
Otherwise, I guess you'll be with 0.92 for a while, unless someone else reports the same problem. I haven't seen it. |

I don't mind getting redirected to the login page, as the old fashioned method works fine. However, my other issue -in which I'm only able to view a single map at a time - is more severe.
Thanks Howie! |

Aaaah, you must be the only person using that view with a bunch of maps... line 68 in weathermap-cacti-plugin.php should read:
| Code: |
weathermap_fullview(FALSE,FALSE);
|
Sorry about that! |
