NO Graphs

OK I have looked at Lotz of threadz here and elsewhere to get my problem fixed.. it looks as if ALOT of people have this issue.. I have tried almost every thing on this board to make it work..

NO GRAPHS.. plain and simple.. and debug mode just shows a blank broken image box.. and no errors.. and if I tell cacti to export the images, they work.. but not in cacti's graphing mode... I have tried every permission possible.. and my conclusion (in my feeble mind) I look at the graph.php file.. it doesnt look as if it is executing the rrd file.. so the image craps out..

any help out there??

FOUND IT..

for some reason Im getting /rrdtool not found in my apache files..
I found in this forum..

ln -s /usr/local/rrdtool-1.0.42/bin/rrdtool /rrdtool

and that fixed it..
make sure that the rrdtool directory version is correct before doing this
mine was 1.0.42
