Redhat SNMP Polling Error Tip

Just a tip -

Be sure to turn off the Redhat Linux firewall (use "setup" from the shell, disable the firewall, then reboot) or SNMP polling will not work.

Symptoms:
1. You cannot snmpwalk any host from the shell.
2. Using external NET-SNMP/UCD-SNMP tools and PHP-SNMP internal produce no results.
3. You add a polling host and you cannot see the SNMP interfaces at the bottom of the page.

I banged my head for an hour on this one - just turn off the firewall or configure it to allow inbound SNMP.
