Its been a while since I played with mactrack.. but as I'm changing my network design here in the office, I think some of the more advanced features it offers might help..
Basically, this is a question about how the mactrack scripts pull out VLAN info from switches and parse it into however mactrack uses it.
So... At the moment, I've a few Cisco routers that everything works nicely for VLAN info. But I've also a Speedtouch 608WL router, and several Netgear L2 switches. All have 'VLAN' support.. but is there a guide for these scripts and what data they need to poll (interpret) ? |
