There's no such nav bar entry for aggregating. The function is invoked from Graph Management. Select those graphs you want to be aggregated and select the dropdown action "Aggregate"

hi Gandalf
Many thanks for your answer. I have found the drop down menu now.
Sorry for the crosspost, I wasn´t sure where is the right place to post about this. Please feel free to delete one of them.

Hello,
I hope that you will be able to help... I am having a similar issue here, in that the "Color Templates" menu option appears once I enable the aggregate plugin (have added permission to the user in question), but the function does not appear in the drop down actions list on the "Graph Management" page.
The only options I can see there are:
| Quote: |
Delete
Change Graph Template
Change Host
Reapply Suggested Names
Resize Graphs
Duplicate
Convert to a Graph Template
Place on a Tree (...) (there are a few of these for trees I have defined)
|
I'm rather unsure what I could have done wrong, given that the Color Templates option is visible, and I can enable permission for the plugin from the User Management section.
Any thoughts would be greatfully received - if you need further information, just let me know.
Thanks in advance!

This is which version of cacti and Plugin Arch? Anything found in cacti.log or httpd's error_log?

Hello,
Thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it.
I'm running Cacti 0.8.7b, with PA 2.0 and v0.64 of the Aggregate plugin.
I cannot see anything within the Cacti log (I have it set to 'high'), and there is nothing in the Apache error log either.
If I set the log to debug, I see a lot of these (among some other SQL queries related to plugins):
| Quote: |
03/23/2008 09:26:23 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] DEBUG: SQL Assoc: "SELECT name, file, function FROM plugin_hooks WHERE status = 1 AND hook = 'substitute_host_data'"
03/23/2008 09:26:23 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] DEBUG: SQL Assoc: "SELECT name, file, function FROM plugin_hooks WHERE status = 1 AND hook = 'substitute_host_data'"
|
Are there any further database modifications required? It seems strange to me that the Color Templates option appears, but the entry in the drop down actions list on the Graph Management page doesn't.
Thanks for your help!
David
