[Solved] Graph Export Problem - rrdtool

Hi, I got some problems when I try to export graph.

Info :

Operating System: Windows Server 2003 R2 on Virtual Server (VMware)
Webserver: IIS 6
Cacti: 0.8.7b
MySQL: 5.1.23
PHP: 5.2.5
RRDTool (Win32 version): 1.2.27
Net-SNMP: 5.4.1

All live graphs working fine.

The only problem I got is when I try to export graph 1x / day.

1887 exported graphs in a local directory D:\

rrdtool normally crash after 15-20 secs, all *.html files are working. PHP-Win create all *.html but only 5-10 *.png.

Sometime, all graphs are exported correctly.

Do you have the error messages for rrdtool crashing?

I got one when I log on the server.

Two errors are in the event viewer.

This night, the export job runs longer than usual, almost 28 minutes.

I forgot to mention, it's an upgrade from version 0.8.6g to 0.8.7b on a new server.

Hmm clearly an rrdtool issue. Maybe try downgrading to 1.2.26 and see if the problem persists. Otherwise, post your problem on the rrdtool mailing list.

I gonna check which application is in problem.

I start a test with my actual production environement un my VMware server and gonna upgrade all software to the last version.

Actual production environement

Operating System: Windows Server 2003 R2
Webserver: IIS 6
Cacti: 0.8.6g
MySQL: 4.1
PHP: 5.0.5
RRDTool (Win32 version): 1.2.15
Net-SNMP: 5.2.1

I do a graph export with this software and all working correctly and faster than my upgraded version. (cacti 0.8.7b, 20 mins vs 30 mins)

RRDtool 1.2.15 to 1.2.27 : all graphs are exported exept 3-5 main images. I gonna try an older version soon.

Net-SNMP 5.2.1 to 5.4.1 : OK

Other results soon.

I try a basic migration from cacti 0.86g to 0.86h.

The new version do the upgrade, all working well.

I try a graph export, few minutes later, no graph are exported...

I finally found the problem.

It's look like a Cacti 0.8.6g upgrade problem.

I do a new install of Cacti 0.8.7b, add all devices, made all graphs and set export graphs.

Now, every night, Cacti export 2000 graphs correctly with rrdtool 1.2.27.
