Data Value Prediction

Perhaps someone has already requested this one, so apologies if this is a duplicate post:

What would be good to have is some sort of prediction ability in the graphs. For example, if it would be possible to analyse a trend of data over a set period of time, and then use this trend to predict a value in the future.

Any ideas ?
