| I no longer get link colors in my weathermap. The colors are grey, like when no data is received for a link. Yet I can mouse over the links and see the Cacti graphs. I just updated rrdtool to 1.3 and Cacti has no problems with it, but I didn't check the weathermap before upgrading so I don't know for a fact that the rrdtool upgrade caused it, though it may have. What should I do? |

Can you go back to your previous version of rrdtool and see if things return to normal?

| So if you run with DEBUG logging turned on for one cycle, what do you see in the logs? You should see a whole bunch of info about what Weathermap is seeing from rrdtool... |

Ah I should have tried that first. When I realized that I was actually running 0.95a, not b as I said, I tried to upgrade it and also PA 2.0 to 2.1 and I'm stuck there. Has weathermap been tested against PA 2.1? Because here is what I get when I login to Cacti when I enable it in includes/global.php as always. If I disable it the problem goes away.

I use 2.1 on 0.8.7b, no problem. I think quite a few people do, and run weathermap 0.95B.
Can you back everything out and install the pia 2.1, then use weathermap 0.95B? |

| Okay, I deleted the weathermap and plugin tables from the cacti db, imported the PA 2.1 schema (don't know if there are any schema differences in PA 2.1), reinstalled rrdtool-1.3rc3, added my map.conf file and my map is pulling data just fine. Not sure what the problem was originally, but the problem is gone and I know that weathermap has no problems with rrdtool-1.3. I didn't think it would, since Cacti didn't, but I suppose you never know. Thanks for responding. |
