Internationalization.
The admin panel needs it. It was somewhat confusing to me, a native English speaker, I can only imagine what an admin with limited English sees.
Not as a plugin, as part of the core. While I know there isn't much text on the user end, the admin panel has much and life would be much easier for non-native english speakers to use cacti if they had it in their native language.
I'm open to discussion.
Cacti is great. I'd like to contribute (some of) my spare time to it. To internationalizing it. In fact, it can be nicely implemented using gettext (with an alternative method as backup for those servers without gettext)
P.S... I checked around, but didn't see any reference to making cacti multi-lingual....
//edit... And of course, I found the roadmap... duh. right in front of me..
Anyways, how is this going to be implemented? I'm interested. |
