You should not be encountering this problem with that number of hosts. Please insure that you have updated the files located in the following location and then please post you follow-up in the correct forum. Not scripts and addons.
Thanks,

Same trouble here... All patched....
11/13/2004 10:02:20 AM - SYSTEM STATS: Time: 137.9903 s, Method: cmd.php, Processes: 5, Threads: N/A, Hosts: 29, Hosts/Process: 6
11/13/2004 09:57:29 AM - SYSTEM STATS: Time: 143.7890 s, Method: cmd.php, Processes: 5, Threads: N/A, Hosts: 29, Hosts/Process: 6
11/13/2004 09:54:58 AM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting.
It does this randomly about every 5 or 8 pulls...

Post debug output, thanks. If it's a lot, e-mail it to me.

Cactid should work Ok. But it is important that you run 0.8.6c with a revised cactid.c file (appologies) attached.
