Hi Folks,
I dug around for a way of direct-linking to a specific graph in Cacti from external applications (such as Nagios) given a hostname/IP and graph template name and was unable to find anything that met my needs. The attached Perl CGI provides this functionality and has been tested with Cacti 0.8.5, but should also work with 0.8.6b/c but this has not been verified.
The redirector CGI was intended to allow templating of host/service extended info in the Notes URL from Nagios, but may be usefull for other applications as well.
Using the redirector allows you to do this:
http://localhost/cgi-bin/cacti_redirector?IP=127.0.0.1&graph=Unix%20-%20Load%20Average
instead of this:
http://localhost/cacti/graph.php?local_graph_id=2&rra_id=all&type=tree
