Okay when i run the poller I get no output it just dumps back out to the command line with no errors. I am using the following command.
php /var/www/html/cacti/plugins/mactrack/poller_mactrack.php
In Cacti itself I have three device types setup for Passport 8600, Baystack 470, and Baystack 450. Each one of these device types has a switch defined for it and are pointing at the get_norbay_switch_ports scanning function. I can manually scan them and get information but the poller doesn't seem to be working when I manually run it. Any ideas as to how to fix this?
Thanks! |

try doing this
php /var/www/html/cacti/plugins/mactrack/poller_mactrack.php -d
This will provide the debug output, and you should be able to see what's going on.
Also by helping another user on the boards, it appears that this will work with PHP 5 only, not a 100% but, i'm sure the witness could confirm. I was helping out Grodno w/ his Redhat Implamentation and was getting this w/ php 4
Updating Device Types in Devices Table. Please be patient. PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/cacti/plugins/mactrack/database_upgrade.php on line 71

i've been looking around for the latest mactrack. I don;t see an updated version.
Can anyone post the latest MAC track plugin that works? Can you also include any instructions that I might not know?
Thanks |

I am making revisions this weekend to correct some lingering (since I changed jobs in February) problems.
Please expect a new release in SVN early next week and a formal release of the product prior to Linuxworld.

But, i'm able to do a snmpwalk on the same OID, w/ the same SNMP community../
If anyone sees the above error, it's b/c you are using SNMP V2, not v1. it seems.
