About two years ago, the cacti.net domain name was purchased by VR Hosted for use by the Cacti project. The domain name has since and continues to provide a critical stepping stone towards Cacti's acceptance.

Now VR Hosted has continued their kindness by donating the cacti.net domain to the Cacti project! We would like to take this time to thank Mark at VR Hosted for his support and contributions.

As you can see on their website, VR Hosted has quite a history of supporting various open source projects. In fact, they happen to provide the server hosting for the Gentoo Linux project. If you are in need of co-location or hosting, be sure to check them out.
