Hi,
We are using redback devices for broadband networks. and we want to measure subsribers traffics on Redback Device. Redback's snmp tree is different from other vendors. There are unique snmp oid indexs per subscribers. therefore this devices terminated with ppp connections for broadband customers, there aren't any physical interfaces on redback device for customers.
so we have snmp oid information per customer. and I am taking a print after run snmpwalk for customer as below.
snmpwalk -v 2c -c <community_name> 212.98.229.240 .1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.27.1.2.3.1.1.28.99.105.109.112.111.114.50.54.48.57.52.64.97.100.115.108.46.118.97.101.46.98.111.114.117.115.97.110
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.2352.2.27.1.2.3.1.1.28.99.105.109.112.111.114.50.54.48.57.52.64.97.100.115.108.46.118.97.101.46.98.111.114.117.115.97.110.25.70.70.49.48.70.70.70.70.53.56.48.48.48.49.68.55.45.52.66.55.69.56.67.53.53 = Counter64: 181433161
it seems that this is output traffic for this customer. we changed interfaces.xml and customized data template.
but it wasn't sucsseed. and debug print is
02/24/2010 07:25:01 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[664] DS[6335] SNMP: v1: X.X.X.X, dsname: traffic_in, oid: .1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.27.1.2.3.1.1.28.99.105.109.112.111.114.50.54.48.57.52.64.97.100.115.108.46.118.97.101.46.98.111.114.117.115.97.110, value: U

In a similar case, the length of OIDs that cacti currently stores was an issue. See 2nd link of my sig for debugging
