Hello Guys,
I'm having some problems with email notifications triggered by thold plugin, but i dont think this is a thold problem, as it seems to use 'settings' plugin for doing that.
What's happening is that despite email headers says it's UTF-8 encoded, seems that some special characters are not being properly encoded.
I've attached 2 screenshots received in Thunderbird latest version, 2.0.0.14. Email encoding is automatically detected by Thunderbird as UTF-8, but international characters are not properly displayed because it seems they are not properly encoded.
More interesting is that if i change encoding to ISO-8859-1 in Thunderbird, i can see the characters correctly, which really makes me believe they are not being properly encoded.
i'm using latest versions of apparently everything:
cacti 0.8.7b
thold 0.3.9
settings 0.5
question is ..... is the UTF-8 encoding should be done by thold which generates the message or it should be done in settings plugin ?
is there any quick fix for that ? i think some few utf8_encode should do it ... i'm not sure, tough, if it should be done in settings or in thold.
thanks !
