i cant import templates. i am using cacti 0.8.6G. i remember reading some stuff about it but the search is giving me the same results in the same order for everything i search. how do i fix it?

i also have a four processor server that only returns one processor to cacti when i index it. do i need a special template that looks for more than one proc?

You must be using the version of cacti + patches that the person exported the template with. You're likely getting a hash error, right? Upgrade to cacti 0.8.6h or if you feel brave, edit the xml file's hash version to whatever you are on (sorry.. I dont have the list of what cacti version corresponds to what hash).

i think i am gonna go the brave way.

my cpu's are still not showing up though and if i cant get those to show, then what i want to import right now wont matter. the SNMP get processor information script only returns 1 item 1 row. is there a special SMP script for this situation?

i tried the brave way, exported a graph template and then copied the hash over. didnt work. i just realized there is more than one hash, a lot more. do i have to change them all to something else? here is the error i am getting.
Code:

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in /usr/local/share/cacti/lib/import.php on line 36

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/share/cacti/lib/import.php:36) in /usr/local/share/cacti/templates_import.php on line 67
