I am sure that people around here know BigBrother, Nagios, Monit ...

I was wondering if a monitoring plugin for Cacti was existing
At least something to check taht all the mandatory process are running

I know that I can do a script to graph the number of process of a certain name, but I will be a little bit strange to have a rrd with only 0 and 1 inside when you monitor "named" for example...

Currently I have only one machine to monitor, I don't feel like installing nagios because my needs are really simple (only the process check)

Please let me know you thoughts about it...
