thold poller - rebooting

Hi,

I installed the thold plugin and got it working on a test machine, I had to reboot the test machine I am using, now I cannot get it to start again. On the thold tab, it shows a last poll date of just before I rebooted. The graphs are working perfectly since I rebooted showing that some kind of polling activity is happening.

I have sendmail, mysql running, crond running and have made no other changes.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to troubleshoot this please? I am curious as to what it could be.
