|
|
http://www.network-weathermap.com/
Released earlier than planned to fix some small 0.8.7 issues. The good stuff is poller_output support and INBWFORMAT, mainly.
| Code: |
0.94 ADDED - INBWFORMAT and OUTBWFORMAT allow you to format the text for BWLABEL, same as for COMMENTs
ADDED - New cactithold/cactimonitor data source plugin reads data from Cacti's Threshold plugin.
(Original development for this plugin was paid for by Stellar Consulting - Thanks!)
ADDED - New LINKSTYLE command allows you to have one-way (one arrow) links.
ADDED - RRD DS can use Cacti's poller_output to get data without running RRDtool at all.
(this also means it can work with the Boost plugin for large installations)
See targets.html for more info on this one.
ADDED - Editor - Align horizontal and Align-vertical for links. Calculates link offsets to make link vertical/horizontal.
CHANGE - Finally a better tab image, and a red 'active' one too, for the Cacti plugin.
FIXED - "Full Screen Maps" mode in Cacti Plugin was broken by me adding the "View Only First" mode.
FIXED - Imagemaps for horiz/vert format legend were wrong in editor (thanks to Alex Moura for pointing this out)
FIXED - Changes for compatibility with Cacti 0.8.7's moved config file.
|
0.941 update - Bugfixes only. Fix for '-' DS names. Fix for logging chattiness. Hopefully a fix for 'doesn't refresh' problem.

poller_output starting
11/16/2007 12:55:46 PM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] *****************************************************************

Ooops. You'll need to comment out two lines in setup.php - the ones that contain that text.

Where can I find this info in the manual? I'm new since .93 , but the manual looks the same, no search functions? Can you link me to these new features for cactithold/monitor

Also, question.... The following line displays "0% of MB"
INBWFORMAT {node:node05688:inpercent}% of {node:node05688:max_bandwidth_in:%m}MB
The node in question is a router, 45MB bndwidth. I was the label to say something like "76% of 45MB". What is wrong in my syntax?

INBWFORMAT is for formatting the little 'bandwidth' boxes on links. If you want to do this for a NODE instead, use the LABEL keyword on a node.
Also, the %m should be %k, and you don't need the M after the } either - %k will add M,K,G etc as appropriate.
I think you are probably confused between nodes and links though. links have bandwidth, not nodes, usually. It's the T3 interface going to somewhere-or-other (the link) that has a bandwidth of 45Mbit, not the actual router. See what I mean?

Ok, I got it, i am understanding now. Anyway to shorten the amount of digits after the "." .... I'd be happy knowing "75.45%" or something.

Yes - {link:this:inpercent:%d}% (force it to an integer), or {link:this:inpercent:%.2f}% (2 decimal places) will do the trick.

Howie, thanks for you help today. I've been able to redo many maps with the new features. One small side question, what is the syntax to get an image to appear in the hoverover of a link? Can OVERLIBCAPTION be used to point to a local png file? I was reading up on the special tokens and don't see that OVERLIBCAPTION can, maybe I am wrong.
Basically on my hoverover I want the title to say something, which i did with OVERLIBCAPTION. Then a small image (like the logo of the ISP being used on that link), then the normal bandwidth graph , and finally NOTES , which works fine.
Thanks
