Hi all,

What are the requirements for spine 0.8.7b downloaded from SVN? Does it require specific version of Cacti and PA?

The reason I am asking is quite simple. I have a working (well sort of, my poller runtime keeps increasing like crazy - you can see my other post on this forum) Cacti installation: Cacti 0.8.7a, PA 1.4 and Spine 0.8.7a. So I have decided to give spine 0.8.7b a try. I have compiled it yesterday against my current installation and to my surprise, after switching spine from 0.8.7a to 0.8.7b none of my graphs render any more. I see plenty of entries in Cacti log file as the ones below:

03/24/2008 07:16:07 PM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[182] DS[3952] WARNING: Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result: ...

Note that the same installation running on the old spine (0.8.7a) works fine.

That's the same for me. Seems to be broken. Do NOT use SVN for production, until you're at a complete loss or explicitely told to do so
Moving to "Unstable"

You see the problem is that it is already running in my production environment... Do you have any advice as how to address this problem?

Thanks gandalf. I have downgraded to spine ver. 0.8.7a. My current configuration is Cacti 0.8.7a, PA 2.1 and spine 0.8.7a. I am still seeing really poor performance when executing PHP scripts especially host_disk_usage.php.

I am not sure what are you talking about. Could you please provide more information (perhaps links)?

Thanks,
