Yet another template with issues

I have downloaded & imported the win services templates with no problems. I attempted to create graphs and although I see my query in cacti runs succesfully there are no graphs created.

I have to start and wonder if any of these templates are ever really tested thoroughly before being posted. This is the second template that I've downloaded from this site with issues.

I bet you're running cacti 087 at least. And I fear, that the scripts you're using were not adjusted to wark with cacti's new cacti_snmp_* INTERNAL functions. They have been modified to fully support SNMP V3.
If calling scripts do not provide data for new function parms, errors like those you've reported will occur.
In general, calling INTERNAL functions is not a good idea. They are not provided as an API, so functions parms may change. But they are damn useful, so they're quite often used.

Either change the calling scripts or ask the orginal author to do so

I gotta tell you the whole user community template collaborative is nice and all, but there needs to be some type of source control / management on these templates. There was no mention of this version restriction anywhere. I am attempting to load the Monitor plugin and unfortunately this plugin requires templates that don't seem to be updated for this version of cacti. I have experienced similar problems with the TCP template which is required by the Monitor plugin.

Right you are.
User contributions are one of the major strenghts of cacti; be it scripts and templates or plugins. We want users to incorporate only standard APIs.

I agree that those functions should be standard APIs.

But in our opinion, support for SNMP V3 was a strong request, so we changed those function calls.
It is not possible for us, to verify each and every script and plugin. This should be done by either the author or the community.

Again, I agree that currently there's no good method to tag scripts and plugins for use with special cacti versions. We will have this in mind when planning the repository.
