This patch will add a feature for CACTI that allows you to define filters in SNMP queries. It will only work for 'walk' fields which use 'value' for source. You can define additional <filter></filter> attribute which can contain regular expression that is matched against the value. If it does not match, the entire snmp_index row will be removed.
There is no limit on how many fields you can mark for filtering.
This is to allow filter SNMP output to reduce unwanted table entries.
Feel free to comment/modify/whatever.
Attached is also example usage for getting environment sensors from Cisco Routers.
