I have some problems with graphs in CACTI; initially devices no show me graphs to USED SPACE (C, D or PHYSICAL/VIRTUAL memory)(the graphs correspondents to others parameters appear). I create new devices with same info again and again until they appear but it was not working always.

This is not normal, what modify?

In addition very graphs display white vertical lines as if it no exist information in this interval of time (dropouts is the term?).
Recomended me change the snmp timeout but the problem persist.

Any other suggestion is acepted...

1) read http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11747 and repost.

2) ALWAYS post pictures as images, NOT word documents!

3) Make sure you have a valid rrdtool font set in cacti.

The windows snmp agent always seems to have issues with the disk space templates. Increase the timeout for the device to 2000 or 5000 ms (yes, its crazy). Also make sure you've increased the timeout and memory values in your php.ini.

How edit the monitor view?
I want to know how i can to create many groups in the monitor view. Only appear main tree and other. The other grouping forms is not funcionally and the view is not better.

When settings the parameters i put the maximun OID's per SNMP request in a value but the settings to each device appear other value

IF these be Windows Boxen, then increase your SNMP timeout. Sometimes Windows machines get a little busy and fail to respond to SNMP walks during polling and will give you gaps like that.

Judging by the gaps, I'd say this looks very much like a SPINE segfault or PHPSVR error. To determine this, please post a MEDIUM log from your poller.

I modify max_input_time to 600 (was in 60); max_execution_time 300 (was in 30); and memory_limit 128 (was in 32)

Those are a little extream on the increase, but should eliminate the issue. If not, respond back with more details.

1) Are the gaps happening for ALL graphs, or just the disk one on Windows boxes?
1a) If all devices, something is causing the cacti poller to hang/hickup.
1b) If only windows, then its just the typical issue with the windows snmp agent not responding in the alloted time.

2) Did you increase the timeout for the device(s) in question to 5000 ms?

The gaps ocurr to all graphs, and the devices that monitoring are windows.

I'm going to assume you've got other graphs besides disk space.

Ok, so this is now an issue with the cacti poller or possibly network related instead. Looking in your cacti log file, when those gaps are occurring, are there any errors? Are you using the latest svn spine version?
