Hi,
there's something new :
I reinstalled cacti completely, then I was able to add Graphs in all roots of the Tree. But after a while my "Error Save Failed" came back.
The Tree Strucktures and Graphs I added are all fine, but know I can't add Header or Graphs in the second level.
For Example:
My Firm
--Server1
--- Device1
In this tree I can add Header and Graphs to My Firm without Errors, to Server 1 and Device1 I can't add Graphs or Header.
Please help me, I'm gonna mad

PS: I din't change anything on my Server, suddenly it happens this way |

Hi,
Does cacti has ability to use |query_ifSpeed| substitution for upper_limit graph variable?
Please help me out with this.
Thanks a lot. |

I don't know, how can I test it?
I'm using Cacti 8.7.b and changed nothing out of default.
Is there a limit Variable, how many devices I can add?

And then i was able to put upper limit as |query_ifSpeed| ...
Thank you |

Lol, I had removed that feature due to some issues with High Speed counters. As far as graph tree's are concerned, the issue is very perplexing. Check to see you have adequate connections available in MySQL and look at your Cacti Log. You should get some messages. Hmm, but maybe not. Very odd. You may also look at the Apache Error_log for more interesting messages.

There aren't any interesting information about this error in the whole internet... you may tell me what logs u need and where are they to find and I'll post them ...
In cactilog on Debugmode there isn't any information, I can't find a apache errorlog and te MYSQLconnection is always alive, cause the cacti and MySQL server is the same
Thanks

Are you referring to the sql save issue or the tree display issue. Please post a piece of your log and also the HTML source from your browser in Tree view mode.

It's a SQL SAVE issue, because I can't add new Header to the tree in the second level, look up.
There I've posted a Screenshot and suscribed the Issue
| Quote: | The Tree Strucktures and Graphs I added are all fine, but know I can't add Header or Graphs in the second level.
For Example:
My Firm
--Server1
--- Device1
In this tree I can add Header and Graphs to My Firm without Errors, to Server 1 and Device1 I can't add Graphs or Header.

Which Data do you need to help me?
Thanks and Greetz

TheWitness found out what's wrong:
The MySQL sever on OpenSUSE 10.3 isn't stable at all. So it crashes by adding something to the Tree.
I'll change the OS and if someone else have the same problem with OpenSUSE ... Bring it off.
