Good afternoon to you all
I need your help
Is there any plugin for Cacti that is able to test the ICMP connectivity with hosts and then create a report with values above the defined?
For instance, imagine that I want to test all hosts with a ping, and then all ping replies above 100ms are saved in some kind of report?
Basically want I want is a cacti plugin or something similar, that has a graphical interface, where I can see all the tests above 100 ms, and where I´m able to filter the results by date, time and/or host.
Is there anything remotely similar to that for Cacti?
Thkx in advance |

I don't know of an ICMP plugin, but you could could use the Advanced Ping template, collect data over a preiod of time, then export this data to Excel (which you can do via the Cacti graphs).
This would provide an ideal start, as you could then use this data to produce a report.
Failing this, use the REPORTIT plugin along with the Advanced Ping template - this is likely to be near to what you are looking for.
Hope this is of some use ? |
