I've been running Cacti 0.8.7b for a while now.......just recently upgraded. Everything was working fine, graphs were graphing just fine.
I installed Spine, and things started going down hill.
The short story is, I've set Cacti to use cmd.php again - but now for some reason, if I edit a device that's already configured, I get a:
HOSTNAME (x.x.x.x)
Ping Results
Cannot connect to host
Previously, it would do an snmp walk just fine and return results. Why all of a sudden would this not be able to connect to my hosts? I take it that's why my graphs aren't working.
Does this have something to do with the connection time out settings, number of processes?
Here's a snippet from my log file:
07/17/2008 02:02:10 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[112] DS[1898] WARNING: Result from SERVER not valid. Partial Result: 07/17/2008 02:02:10 |
