Somehow your web server is unable to run these. That's all I can guess. No, you can not go back. Try restarting Apache and then do this again. Look in your apache error_log for more details.

Sorry dont do Windows any more. I would look at Filemon when you run the dataquery and see if you have a permissions issue. IIS sucks when it comes to the log, unless they have changed something in IIS6.

Hi

I've just upgraded from 0.8.6j to .0.8.7b and now have this problem with cpu and disk not updating.

Debian Etch
net-snmp 5.
rrdtool 1.2

I'm not seeing any errors in the logs, I get the below when I run verbose query

Code:

+ Running data query [8].
+ Found type = '4 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/cacti-0.8.7b/resource/script_queries/host_disk.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/cacti-0.8.7b/scripts/query_host_partitions.php  **.***.***.22 public 2 index'

+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php -q /var/www/cacti-0.8.7b/scripts/query_host_partitions.php **.***.***.22 public 2 query sau'

I'm also running the latest PIA

Hello everybody, same problem here. Monitoring network interfaces has never been a problem, but doing the same for disks and cpus seems to be pure luck. After upgrading to 0.8.7b re-queriing:
SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions
SNMP - Get Processor Information
always returns 0 results.

For the partitions:
Code:
+ Running data query [8].
+ Found type = '6 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes 'c:\progra~1\php\php.exe -q E:\wwwroot\Php\cacti\scripts\ss_host_disk.php terminalserver.brainscanner.dyndns.org 7 1:161:500:public:::::: index'
+ Executing script query 'c:\progra~1\php\php.exe -q E:\wwwroot\Php\cacti\scripts\ss_host_disk.php terminalserver.brainscanner.dyndns.org 7 1:161:500:public:::::: query index'
+ Executing script query 'c:\progra~1\php\php.exe -q E:\wwwroot\Php\cacti\scripts\ss_host_disk.php terminalserver.mydomain 7 1:161:500:public:::::: query description'
+ Executing script query 'c:\progra~1\php\php.exe -q E:\wwwroot\Php\cacti\scripts\ss_host_disk.php terminalserver.mydomain 7 1:161:500:public:::::: query sau'
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_disk.xml'

For the cpu
Code:
+ Running data query [9].
+ Found type = '6 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes 'c:\progra~1\php\php.exe -q E:\wwwroot\Php\cacti\scripts\ss_host_cpu.php terminalserver.brainscanner.dyndns.org 7 1:161:500:public:::::: index'
+ Executing script query 'c:\progra~1\php\php.exe -q E:\wwwroot\Php\cacti\scripts\ss_host_cpu.php terminalserver.mydomain 7 1:161:500:public:::::: query index'
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at 'E:/wwwroot/Php/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'

So I've checked all files, they're from February 2008, including those in the ressource folder.
Filemon didn't show any denied accesses. But viewing the log I found the error on the attached screenshot. Host 12 is a remote dd-wrt router that doesn't have to be given any attention here. Host 1 is indeed one of the machines having the problem, but absolutely not the only one.

Might the SQL error be a clue to you? Raising the log-level shows only blue lines when executing the query.

What I should add:
For one host a cpu is still monitored, even if it doesn't show up under "Associated Data Queries". That's left from the past, I haven't deleted the data source, neither the graph. And it's still monitored successfully. Only the name can't be querried:
CPU Utilization - CPU|query_hrProcessorFrwID|
...what used to be CPU0. Maybe that's what's causing the log-error for host 1.

For those on 0.8.7x, please see the beta version of 0.8.7c. In there you will find a directory called "scripts". From there take both the ss_host_disk.php and ss_host_cpu.php and place those into your 0.8.7b scripts directory and re-index. This should fix things up nice.

Code:

+ Running data query [9].
+ Found type = '6 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/local/www/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes '/usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/local/www/cacti/scripts/ss_host_cpu.php 192.168.1.5 21 2:161:1000:public:::MD5::[None] index'
+ Executing script query '/usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/local/www/cacti/scripts/ss_host_cpu.php 192.168.1.5 21 2:161:1000:public:::MD5::[None] query index'

+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/local/www/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/usr/local/www/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'

I`m replaced ss_host_disk.php with file in ss_host_disk.zip (in this theme,not from 0.8.7c beta) and it`s work perfectly.

What happens when you run this from the command line:

/usr/local/bin/php -q /usr/local/www/cacti/scripts/ss_host_cpu.php 192.168.1.5 21 2:161:1000:public:::MD5::[None] query index
