|
|
I'm monitoring 2 switches (multiple ports).
All ports are 1GB and the graphed I/O data is in Bits/per sec. I've set the threshold to 900000000 but I am being alerted when it hits 8057629.0833.
I presume it's a relational problem between the ports monitored speed and the threshold limits but my maths don't seem to add up.
Thold v 0.3.9

Threshold works on the raw values, which are in BYTES/second.
Hmm, but that would be the opposite problem... |

I've edited the threshold to 125,000,000 but still getting erroneous alerts |

| Is your nic reporting in bits, bytes, etc...? Which graph template are you using, and what is the CDEF applied to that template? |
