[solved] Cacti page not displaying anything

Hi i have installed Cacti services on my machine. Things i have installed according to the documentation on the website are as follows:
1) Mysql 5.0.37
2) Apache 2.1.0.55
3) Cacti 0.8.76
4) PHP 5.2.6

i have followed and checked twice each step described in the doco on the website. When i try to browse to http://server/cacti/.
I have checked Apache, mysql and PHP are all running but i can not understany y? i can not get cacti to display the page any suggestions for me?
Quick response would be appreciated please let me know if you need any further information.

2) Sounds like web server / PHP isn't set up properly. Time to check the error logs, event logs, etc for hints on what is broken.

Hi thank you for your reply i have managed to fix the issue. Initially there was a issue between the keyboard and the user.
few things i made error on:
a) uncommented some random characters in php like @@@@
b) cacti was not imported onto mysql.

i must be having a moment or something....
