can I move rrd files to a different drive on windows server

I have cacti version 0.8.7a, spine running on a windows 2003 server. Cacti and mysql are installed on the same drive (D. I would like to move over all of the rrd files to e: drive. Is this possible? what do I need to do so that cacti does not break?

Moving to Windows.
Surely doable (at least on linux using symlinks)

Yes, Windows supports junctions which should let you accomplish what you're after. Plenty of links on Google regarding them. Example: http://daniele.livejournal.com/66210.html
