hello i have setup of fresh cacti installation .. already i am running cacti for about last 10 months ..
is there any way to import data of previous cacti to new cacti as RRD Tool version of both cacti installation is same ..
any suggestions will be greatful ..

Yes, if you look under the howto section of the forum, there are several ways to do this. In fact there is a plugin/utility called "bloom" that supposedly does this.
Here is a link. However, if you use my utility, you are limited by the command line depending on how many rrd's you have. Therefore, I simply wrote a script that uses the find command from going from system A to system B. If you have not changed Architectures 32bit to 64bit, UNIX to Linux, Windows to Anything, you should not have to do the RRDtool conversion.

I would give Bloom a twist. The nice thing about migrating the RRDFiles is that once you have the database migrated, you can have both pollers working at the same time as the RRDfiles are being dumped and imported and not loose a single poll. And, if you screw something up along the way, you simply start over.
Now, I don't know if Bloom is doing it that way, but who knows. Streaker is a pretty smart guy.
