All,
I have made another spine beta. You can download it here. If downloading the Windows binary, you will need to have a working cygwin install first.
Please open separate threads in the Beta discussions if you are interested in providing feedback.

| I am not sure what you are asking. I downloaded the version from the above post (cacti-spine-0.8.7c-beta3-win32.zip).

Sorry, forgot, Windows. The question is, do you get a stacktrace.* file in the spine directory? Can you upload it?

| Do you have the latest cygwin installed? I am guessing yes.

| Another question for you. I have 4GB in my box and the most that is ever used is 800MB. How can I increase what is used? Would this help speed up the poller?

What uses 800mb? Optmized your MySQL config so the entire db is cached? query cache enabled?
ram drive for the rrd files? although with that, you could possibly run the risk of the data not saved back to disk during power failure if you don't have some sync process set up.

| I figured out that I was trying to keep too much data in each RRD. I am running cacti on a hyper-v host and I think the poller was having a hard time getting the data written to the very large RRD in time. I reduced the size of my RRDs and spine is now performing very well.
