rrd files not updated

I had some issues upgrading 0.8.5 -> 0.8.6 so I tried out the pre 0.8.7 cacti+cactid and it worked without a problem for a day. But last night it suddenly stopped updating the graphs, I found this morning that /var partition was full because of some other programs logfile so I cleared some diskspace but Cacti did not start updating the graphs. I've run poller.php with both cmd.php and cactid with debugging logging and it seems to poll data and update SQL, but the rra/*.rrd files are not touched at all.

File permission, disk space, memory etc are all OK.

Debian Linux (testing), mysql 4.0.21, php4 4.3.9, rrdtool 1.0.48.

Any suggestions?

You might have corrupted the RRD's. Unknown, when a volume fills up, I have seen wierder things.

I would back up your RRD directory, remove the rrd's and see if that resolves the issue.

As for the data that might be contained in the old rrds, I don't have a clue how to proceed.

I going to have to test how rrd reacts in a full volume situation. It might have only partially updated the file, hense the corrpution.

We discovered a re-cache problem that was crashing pollers. Plese see the attached. It manifests itself by by RRD files not updating.
