How about something to do thresholds?

I know this may start to lead towards the whole system monitoring/NMS stuff, but so far I really like the way cacti deals with objects and SNMP threshold alerting would be awesome.

Hi rax

Is threshold monitoring planned for 0.8? Does RRFW talks about the same thing on the RRD World page?? it would be really useful getting snmp traps or email notifications ! also i read the earlier idea of emailing the graphs periodically .. this would again be kewl .. hmm emailing may not be that useful but threshold violation notification would be a definate PLUS !!
