I think you solved my problem. The polling is working and I don't have script_server process hanging.
What is the difference from rv15 ?
Does the next cactid version will be compliant ? |

It was old legacy code that was being too aggressive releasing mutex locks! It will be in the next release.

Sorry to bring this back up. But I am having this same problem where the poller is spawning multiple script_server.php cmd processes and they all are hanging. I am using cmd.php instead of cactid though.
Here is some info on the system:
FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE-p10
PHP 5.0.4 (cli) (built: Apr 29 2005 14:01:29)
mysql Ver 14.7 Distrib 4.1.11, for portbld-freebsd5.3 (i386)
not sure whats going on. This is a stock cacti except for a custom graph template which I imported from a working cacti. I will start looking their. |
