Just got a new server and I am moving all my monitoring stuff over to it.
I have cacti up and running on the new server, what do I need to do in order to have all the settings and data moved over?
Thanks |

| you should be able to just make a backup of the mysql database and move it over to the new machine. make sure the machine has the php/snmp built, then its just a task of adjusting paths if they're going to be different. |

Just in case if you are changing a platform as well... rrd files are not compatible on unix and windows platforms. You would need to export to text and import again on new platform.
