Hi,
i'm using cacti and i really like it. now a gameserver (counterstrike) runs on my dedicated server and i want to monitor ther traffic produced by the gameserver. i think tcp/udp ports 27005 and 27015 should be monitored (have to look) but i have no idea how to write a skript (in perl). does anybody have an idea how to realize it?
it should be similar to this: http://www.cstrike.de/hlinside/server/traffic.gif

| thats not specifically for a gameserver, its just a traffic monitor. you could use SNMP or write a script to parse ifconfig stats or something. |

hi,
i informed me about iptables and snmp and they are powerful "tools", but i have no idea on scripting such things, so i hope, somebody could help me with this specific problem (ports moinitoring, right input and output for cacti/rrd).
