Fatal error: Call to undefined function: newadoconnection()

Hi!

I have installed cacti-0.8-pre20030430.tar.gz.

After installation and configuration i get this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: newadoconnection() in /var/www/cacti-0.8/include/database.php on line 38

I found no way to bring cacti-0.8-pre20030430 to work...

Can you heko me?

PS.: My system ist an uptodate debian-linux...

You get this after you go through the installation? That is weird because, a lot of database selects/updates are made during the installation as well.

Can you give me the exact point in the installation where this error occurs for you?

Also what version of PHP are you using, and have you messed with the include_path at all?
