Cacti + Nagios Plugin Error

Hello all,

I must say, the nagios addon for cacti is brilliant!! We are having one issue though....when we attempt to look at "additional views", we are unable to view hostgroups and servicegroups. We get an error that says the page cannot be displayed. When we look in the source folder (/var/www/html/cacti/plugins/npc/) for these PHP files, they do not exist. Does anyone know where to get these docs, or how to correct this problem? Any assistance would be most appreciated!! Thank you!

Hi,

I had a discussion this issue with npc plugin developer. These

functionalities are not ready yet. In next release he is supposed to add

these files.

He released this plugin back in November and he was supposed to release new version in December. But we did not hear any thing from him yet.

It might also bear noting that the primary developer of Nagios has recently changed the event broker substantially and has also released his own inserter module. I suspect the developer of NPC is working to make the newest release compatible with the model that Nagios v2 is moving towards in addition to trying to standardize on the inserter that is being developed by the primary Nagios developer.
