Hi,
Now it seems cacti 0.8 could run well on RH9 machine.
Thanks for a great job by Rax and team.
I just want to ask about privileges in viewing graphs.
I have many customers' routers to watch.
I want each customer could ony view graphs from their own router.
For example:
I have 2 customers, each have 1 router to monitor.
Customer A with Router A, Customer B with Router B
I create graphs monitoring with cacti. And create a user ID for each customer. And I only allow Customer A to view only Router A graph and Customer B ony to view Router B graph.
But what happened is, when I log in with Customer A user ID, I could watch not only Router A graphs but Router B graph also.
With previous cacti version 0.68a, this thing was not happened.
If I set the same way, when I log in with Customer A user ID, I could only see Router A graph.
On the list I could not see another graph except mine.
Just a suggestion, could you make it the same as cacti 0.68a ?
It was great....
Thank you

I found and fixed a few graph/tree permissions problems. Go ahead and try the latest release/CVS and let me know how it works.

Hello Ian,
It works on tree view and list view.
In preview view, I still could see another customers on "filter by host" drop down box.
I could see list of customer there. It is true that I could not see the graphs, but I could see the graphs list there.
But it is not a problem since I could just disable the "preview view" on the user privileges.
Thank you Ian for your help and I'am sorry I called you Rax on my previous mail.
