Anyone have the step by step (newby) instructions for adding a monitor and related graphs in .8-pre20030505.
I am trying to monitor via snmp the Win2K current sessions. Had it working on 0.6.8a but cannot seem to figure out right steps to get DS and graphs to work.

I will do my best to explain how to do this.

1) Create an entry in 'Polling Hosts' for your win2k server, this will mainly be used for organization purposes for this situation.

2) Go to 'Data Sources' and choose 'Add'. Select your new host and 'None' as a data template and click 'Create'.

3) The options on this screen are almost identical to that of 0.6.8. You will want to choose 'Get SNMP Data' for the data input source. When you click save here, you will be given the opportunity to fill in your SNMP parameters. The nice thing is this will all be filled in for you (except the OID), if you selected a host in the previous step.

4) Go to 'Graph Management' and choose 'Add'. Select your new host and 'None' as a data template and click 'Create'. Just like in 0.6.8, you have to specify your graph parameters and create any items for the graph.

That should pretty much do it. Let me know if you would like to know anything else.
