Hi,

I have a problem with displaying graphs in the new 0.8 version. All is working fine until I try to watch the graphs. Then Apache hangs up and needs a restart. I've searched the forum for a few hours and find the following bug: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=22526 I think it's the same bug I have. There's also a thread: http://www.raxnet.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=1215&start=45

The suggested solution for the problem: run Apache in CGI-Mode. I've tried this but I couldn't login after switching into CGI-Mode. I always became a "Access Denied" from cacti.

The next problem is, that if I run Apache in CGI-Mode my old cacti (0.6) doesn't work because it needs the SAPI-Mode Or am I wrong?

Is this only a problem under Windows or also under Linux?

Perhaps there is a solution for this problem yet but I didn't find it. Any help would be great!

*sigh* I have a feeling this is going to cause a lot of problems for win32 users if this is not dealt with somehow. I had no problem configuring my IIS for CGI mode, but it was definitely slower and had it's own share of issues compared with ISAPI.

The problem does not affect Unix-based platforms at all, and seems to be specific to the IIS/Apache ISAPI modules on win32.

While everyone can seem to reproduce this, the PHP developers have not yet acknowledged this as a bug. Either way, I would really like to see this fixed as it's causing problems for us all.

Hi,

thanks for helping. So the best solution would be Linux or Unix Next week I will configure a new Unix machine and try it again!
