If anyone is interested, I've figured out how to poll my Linux server from Cacti on WinXP. I'm using PLINK.EXE (command line version of PuTTY) and modified versions of the default Cacti perl scripts.
I've got CPU & memory utilization licked so far. I'll continue until I get the disk utilization and interface stats.
