threshld problem: hangs the system

I have a problem related to threshld plugin. Without applying threshld to any data items my system runs beautifully. The graphs are showing and getting updated every 5 minutes. As soon as I apply threshld to any data items the system will hang there forever. I opened another browser to check the log file and found nothing there. It happened to another develooper in my company. I am not sure it is Windows specific problem or a general problem. Please somebody give me some pointers. Thanks in advance.

System Information:
OS: Windows 2003 server
Cacti: 0.8.6h
MySQL: 5.0.19-nt
PHP: 5.1.2
